Watch sessions from Urban Mobility Days 2020

Presentations and recordings from the Urban Mobility Days 2020 conference are now online. If you have not had the chance to attend the event, this is your chance to catch up with the 40+ sessions on topics such as sustainable urban mobility planning, zero-emission transport, resilience and more.

The first Urban Mobility Days conference in 2020 combined two leading events from Europe’s transport calendar: the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). Between 30 September and 02 October, some 1,400 policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, urban transport practitioners, urban planners and urban mobility practitioners digitally came together to focus on solutions to make mobility in cities and towns more sustainable.

Matthew Baldwin, Deputy Director-General for Mobility and Transport, Coordinator for Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility for the European Commission summarised some of the key messages to come from the conference citing a "clear demand in cities for cleaner air, safer, less congested streets and to tackle CO2". He also advocates for more pedestrian zones and segregated bike lanes to be implemented to enable people to walk and cycle year-round as well as lower speed limits and equitable sharing of city space.

Conference sessions recordings and presentations are available to view online for those who were unable to attend:
