Share best practices on use of asphalt as pavement for pedestrian amenities
Are there locations in your city, town or region where asphalt was used as pavement for pedestrian amenities? Then the Belgian Road Research Centre (BRRC) wants to hear from you!
On behalf of Brussels Mobility, the BRRC is conducting a study on “The use of asphalt as pavement for pedestrian amenities”. POLIS member, the Brussels-Capital Region wants to investigate where asphalt could be used in Brussels as pavement for pedestrian amenities (on the footpath, in pedestrian zones, in pedestrian shopping streets, etc.).
There are many examples of this, in Belgium and abroad, and the BRRC is seeking to understand more and discover best practices.
If you would like to share your examples, please fill in the short survey in the ‘documents’ tab below and send it to a.volckaert@brrc.be.
The BRRC will then organise an “inspiration workshop” for project owners and road authorities in the period January/February 2021. If you would like to present your project during this workshop please indicate in the survey.
