Registrations soon to open for RTR Conference 2024

Starting on 7 November 2023, it will be possible to register for the 7th edition of the European Conference on Results from Research Projects on Road Transport (RTR Conference). Make sure to sign up and join participants from across Europe for an invigorating exploration of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects in the area of road transport.

Are you curious to learn more about state-of-the-art research on urban mobility topics like green vehicles, intelligent transport systems, and automated road transport? Then mark your calendar for 7 November 2023! That's when registrations open for the 2024 RTR Conference, scheduled to take place in Brussels from 5-7 February 2024.

You are not going to want to miss #RTR2024 -- there is so much to learn about the many benefits that ongoing transport research is delivering for the environment, the economy, and European citizens!


What to expect 

#RTR2024 is your unique introduction to the achievements, lessons learned, and impacts of leading EU-funded projects in road transport.

Co-organised by Towards Zero Emission Road Transport (2Zero), The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), Connected, Cooperative & Automated Mobility (CCAM), and the European Commission, next year's annual RTR Conference is expected to bring together as many as 400 participants.

At the Conference, you can look forward to:

  • Discovering the results of ground-breaking, EU-funded research on road transport
  • Connecting with other professionals in a network of 350+ peers
  • Exploring the exhibition area dedicated to promoting innovative research on road transport

Are you eager to know what's in store? Good news! You can watch replays of live footage from each day of the 2023 RTR Conference and read the summary report of all the sessions to get an idea of what awaits. Topics covered at last year's RTR Conference included next-generation electric vehicles (EVs), inclusive and interconnected transport systems, and the future of mobility data management.
