POLIS calls for higher share of clean cars in company fleets
POLIS joins 9 other associations and companies to call for a higher share of clean cars in company fleets from 2025.
A letter, sent to the commissioners, demands to expand the scope of the Clean Vehicle Directive and to introduce a new legislative framework that requires company fleets to become 100% clean by 2030.
"Fleet electrification will accelerate EU-wide compliance of the car CO2 standards, and bring the much-needed ICE phase-out while supporting the implementation of local policies for zero-emission zones" – the letter stresses.
In addition, it is important for the companies to implement multimodal mobility packages for their staff and for the vehicles that are part of that multimodal strategy, zero-emissions vehicles will be considered as the best solution.
