The event will bring together stakeholders from diverse organisations (public and private sector) to discuss real case experiences and the latest insights to implement systems and advance energy transition in cities.
SEEV4-City Launch Event
As part of the conference, the organisers will host the SEEV4-City international project launch event.
SEEV4-City (Smart, clean Energy and Electric vehicles for the City) is an innovative project co-funded by the EU North Sea Region Programme with 7 operational projects trialling the practical applications of systems that combine electric mobility, renewable energy and smart energy management in Europe’s cities.
All SEEV4-City Operational Pilots are aimed at combining electromobility and renewable energies through a series of pilots.
Some of them are small and focused on households; others on districts. Some projects maximize the use of electric vehicles, meanwhile others count with stationary batteries. In addition, some are applied to living areas, and other to business buildings:
- Leicester, U.K.: Vehicle2Business
- Kortrijk depot, Belgium: Vehicle2Business
- Amsterdam, the Netherlands: Vehicle2Neighbourhood
- Amsterdam Arena, , the Netherlands: Vehicle2Business
- Vulkan Project, Oslo, Norway: Vehicle2Neighbourhood
