DG Regio launches survey on cross-border public transport
The European Commission’s DG Regio is calling for participants to contribute to a study on cross-border public transport.
DG REGIO’s study “Providing public transport in cross-border regions. Mapping of existing services and related legal obstacles”, aims to examine experiences with current cross-border public transport services to assess challenges for further development and implementation.
As part of the study, DG Regio is calling for individuals to complete a short survey to share their experiences. The survey is available in a range of European languages and focuses on:
- Supply and demand of cross-border public transport services in EU and EEA border areas;
- Sources and types of legal, administrative and operational obstacles for such services; and
- Solutions found or anticipated to overcome obstacles.
