Agenda available! ICT-Emissions Final Conference
Experts will guide you through the ICT-Emissions modelling framework, notably Traffic and Emissions Modelling, Validation and Adaptation.
The project has collected valuable data on Variable Speed Limit, Green Navigation, Urban Traffic Control - Ecodriving, Start-Stop Scenarios, and Adaptive Cruise Control Systems through real-world experiments to validate the performance and the accuracy of the methodology. Results and future perspectives of four case study cities (Madrid, Turin, Rome and Munich) will be presented.
To enable knowledge transfer and a wider uptake of ICT-based measures in local traffic management the project has developed the ICT-Emissions Library of already simulated situations.
The database offers a guide of the impact of ICT measures for policy makers and cities/operators who do not have the capacity to invest in detailed modeling approaches. In particular the driving patterns included in the database are an important input to other traffic micro-models, either for application or commercialisation point of view.
Project partners and an expert audience will wrap up the evet with a discussion on exploring untapped research areas towards shaping Smart Cities with ITS.
