Why you should participate:
UTC, an Interreg MED Programme initiative that promotes sustainable urban mobility planning in the Euro-Mediterranean region, looks at clean and soft modes as an effective tool to reduce carbon emissions and improve the quality of life of the population and the environment.
The final event of the Community will represent an occasion to take stock of the work and results achieved in the last three years of activities - one last chapter in the story (and probably the first of many more) that saw the active participation of partners from the north and the south Mediterranean in making the discourse of SUMPs in the Med-area as a valuable asset for the future of mobility beyond the region itself.
What to expect from the event:
The event will involve experts contributing to the topics of decarbonisation of mobility and resilience against climate change, as well as on SUMPs and innovation in Mediterranean cities.
The Conference will also be the occasion to discover what the cities participating in the Urban Transports Community’s Mentorship programme have accomplished by being engaged in an exclusive dialogue with a selected group of cities from the Urban Transports Community, who pioneered sustainable urban mobility solutions in different fields.
