FREILOT
Urban Freight Energy Efficiency Pilot
FREILOT aimed to increase the energy efficiency of goods transport in urban areas and reduce CO2 emissions.
The project consortium has developed a new approach to tackle the following challenges:
- Traffic management (intersection control optimised for energy efficiency)
- Vehicle (Acceleration and adaptive speed limiters) management
- Driver (Enhanced "eco-driving" support) management
- Fleet management (Real-time loading/ delivery space booking)
