Three electric buses will ride through Polis member Ghent

From April 2017 three electric and free of charge buses will ride through the car-free area in Ghent, Polis member.

The city will test this innovative free public transport that will help people with reduced mobility to get around the city more easily. The recently enlarged car free zone in the new circulation plan and the longer distances to be covered on a daily base were one of the key challenges emerged during the citizens’ consultation.

Polis network offered ideas, solutions, and support to ensure that this innovative people movers service could prove to be efficient.
