NOVELOG Graz Workshop 'Challenges for implementing sustainable City Logistics'

The workshop aims at achieving stakeholder cooperation and common ground for exchange of information and experiences on implementing sustainable Urban Freight Transport (UFT).

The City of Graz, together with the private company B.I.M., is more and more involved in EU projects testing new UFT solutions. Within NOVELOG, the following measures will be tested in Graz:

• Concept for a logistics hub near the city centre
• Extension of the existing B2C-delivery service “bring mE” to more shops and to a larger area
• Concept for a sustainable, environmental friendly logistic in new housing areas and its possible implementation.

This workshop offers an unique possibility for Graz to learn best practices from other cities, but also to enable other cities with similar challenges to get valuable information on how to solve their problems.
