Running from November 2024 to early 2025, the series will cover key trends and innovations, bringing together local authorities, transport operators, and mobility experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The return of the bus: BRTs and BHLS to power mobility network in Catalonia and Barcelona
This webinar will explore the resurgence of buses as a key mode in Europe’s urban mobility, with cities increasingly adopting electric buses and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems. Buses are now viewed as flexible, sustainable, affordable, and socially accepted by decision-makers and users alike.
Josep Mension, Director of Bus Central Services at TMB, will share Barcelona’s experience in transforming its bus network, including its work on the eBRT2030 project. Cristina Pou Fonollà, Head of Public Road Transport for Catalonia, will present the Expres.cat network and plans for new high-speed bus express lines to enhance regional connectivity and sustainability.
