The Just Transition Taskforce is ready to go full throttle with its new Webinar series, now open for registrations. What does a 'just transition' really mean, and how do we achieve it in urban mobility? Come join us to find out!
It is official: the Just Transition Taskforce’s brand new Webinar series has now opened for registrations!
The Just Transition Webinars aim to provide a space for discussion on the points of action to be made to elevate inclusion, diversity, and accessibility at the heart of all urban mobility policies.
Following the launch of our Just Transition Agenda in 2021, the webinars will traverse in detail the multifaceted ways affordability, gender-related mobility patterns, age, cognitive capacities (and more) can guide the future mobility of our cities and regions.
To addresses imbalance and unfairness across the entire mobility spectrum, several online events will be held from February to March 2023, with each webinar examining mobility justice from a specific perspective, in accordance with POLIS’ different Working Groups. From freight to parking, traffic efficiency to active travel, electromobility to safety — and everything in between — we begin to discuss how each sector has its part to play, the challenges ahead, and how cities and regions are treading new ground.
This follows in the steps of our hugely successful Mobilising Mobility and Public Transport Lab webinar series, to support our cities and regions translating their ambitions into concrete action!
Thinking about which one you should attend? While some webinars are for POLIS members only, others will be available to the public to raise awareness and share relevant insights on the issue.

Air Quality & Clean Vehicles: Making EV charging a reality for people with disabilities

The uptake of EVs must include sufficient charging infrastructure, as proposed under AFIR.
