The Polis Annual Conferences provide an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience and for the wider transport community to engage with representatives of city and regional authorities on innovative transport solutions. The conferences offer a mix of high-level plenary sessions, with prominent figures debating topical issues, and a wide selection of technical sessions on innovative topics identified by Polis members.
Polis Annual Conference 2011 has been organized with the European Economic and Social Committee and took place on the 29 and 30 November in Brussels. Read more.

Polis Annual Conference 2010
In 2010, the 24th edition of Annual Polis Conference was hosted by the City of Dresden under the auspices of the Mayor of Dresden and Polis President, Helma Orosz, on 25 and 26 November 2010. The conference was attended by about 200 delegates and provided an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience. Read more.

In 2009, the Polis Annual Conference took place on 10 and 11 Devember in Brussels. A mix of presentations addressing innovation in policy, strategy and technology in local and regional mobility was delivered to an international audience of transport professionals and researchers. The sessions were chaired by qualified individuals, including many representatives of the European Commission. The level of participation of Commission officials in the conference, especially those with responsibility for key policy portfolios, demonstrated Polis’ good relations this European institution.
